The Story of a Photographer

Hey, I’m Laura—and this is me in a nutshell.

I’m the face (and heart) behind Lavender & Jasmine Photography.

I’m based in London—a city that’s chaotic, a little messy, and completely magical. It keeps me inspired every day, and I truly love calling it home. That said, my work often takes me further afield, capturing beautiful weddings and love stories all across Europe.

A few of my favourite things? Old-fashioned photo booths, dogs, flowers, gin & tonics, chocolate, making bread, candles, art, stained glass windows, Polaroids, and the occasional chicken nugget. I’m also dyslexic, which I think adds to the way I see the world, it’s made me a visual storyteller through and through.

My photography style is authentic, natural, and timeless. I focus on capturing real emotions, beautiful light, and the kind of candid moments that bring you right back to the feeling of the day. I'm not about stiff poses or a long shot list. I want you to feel relaxed, have fun, and trust that your memories are in safe hands.
